WTF--Wouldn't want to be the author of this

Post by Guest on Sun 23 Aug 2015, 3:24 pm

Not sure what to make of this add on Gumtree, not helpful to sellers who have every right to try and recover their outlay for the machine in the first place, but helpful to buyers so that they can buy new instead of used, at the end of the day who are going to be the big losers?, could also have some legal ramifications for the author. Suspect

This person was warning people on Gumtree not to buy second hand gpx 4500's due to minelab releasing a bunch of new ones that were stolen a couple of years ago and recovered, saying that the release of these machines by minelab has decimated the used 4500 sales market, sort of bagging minelab and also at the same time insinuating that people selling used ones for the going prices (prior to this release) which can be higher than the release price for a new one, are purposely trying to rip buyers off.

Maybe the person bought one second hand and then heard about the release, obviously has the sh#ts about it, anyway everyone was copping a serve, minelab and used 4500 sellers.
