I dont mind it reasonably hot,but like you say theres nobody about and you have most places to yourself, if it cools down enough to get a few hours sleep at night then its ok.

Used to go all year round but you get less tolerant of the heat as you get older (softer) just not keen on it when its around the 50's.

Hi All,

What are you guys talking about, trying to breath hot air, the grounds too hot, the cats laying there on the ground in the shade of the van heaving trying to just breath cause the air is to hot, cant sleep, cant breath, cant rest

Have you seen what happens to a pair of leather boots if you leave them out in the sun over summer.....they shrink so that even a dwarf wouldn't fit into them anymore

Your missus will be happy because she won't have to iron your shirts anymore, just wear them for an hour or so and they are ironed to the exact shape of your body

Have you noticed all the kangaroos have p*ssed off as well or the eagles are hovering a lot more and the dust (bull) is getting thicker

Enjoy your time in the sun, for me I'm at the beach everyday, sea breezes, sea views and getting a little fatter waiting for the next season to arrive

Cheerio,

Ron

some people have to keep the flag flying over the xmas break I suppose..

Mind u the thought of sitting on a beach somewhere with those girls who forgot to put on their tops sound very appealing to some of us old codgers...
